If there were ever a time I wish I could wiggle my nose like Barbara Eden in
I Dream of Genie and make some magic happen, it's when we have to load the RV before a long trip. We are getting there - still trying to finish the laundry so we can pack our clothes. Can't put all the food in because it will either melt or get really gooey so we'll have to do that tomorrow morning right before we leave.

Our lot in the fall. It overlooks the lake and the #2 green on the golf course. |
This summer we are going to do less traveling and more watching the clouds drift by. Last summer we stayed at the Ozark RV Resort on Table Rock Lake in northwest Arkansas and loved it so much we bought a spot there. The lake is huge, there are two pools, a par-3 9 hole golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts, and lots of sunshine. So the plan is to stay there for a couple of weeks. The girls want to see Mt. Rushmore and we need to hit some of the 11 states we haven't filled in on our map yet so we'll probably make our way north to Iowa, Minnesota, maybe Quebec since we are near by, and North and South Dakota. We'll head south again for a few weeks at our place in Arkansas and then home.
I'm pretty nervous because I will be driving the RV up to Arkansas. We bought a boat last November in anticipation of playing on Table Rock Lake so Jeff will be driving my Jeep and towing the boat. I've driven the RV myself a couple of times now and it's actually pretty easy. The problem is I get SO sleepy. I'm loading the fridge with Red Bull and hopefully that will keep me awake. We've got Mya's summer reading assignment book on audio so maybe we'll listen to that on the way north.
We've been cleaning and packing since school ended Friday so it will be a relief to get someplace and just put our toes up for awhile. And such a lovely place to do "toes up time".
